Another Great Big Foam Mattress Sale

§ July 11th, 2011 § Filed under Home & Garden § Tagged , , § No Comments

I am so excited again today because the local furniture outlet is going to have another foam mattress sale at the weekend. They announced it in our local newspapers. It looks like it is going to be a big deal. I cannot wait to throw away my spring mattress and trade it for a nice and comfortable foam mattress. I look forward to doing that, as well as having many good nights of sleep. I have a feeling that a lot of sleepless nights are going to come to an end.

Really I just love foam mattresses so much. They are so comfortable to me. I love them better than the spring mattresses because there are no springs that poke out and get all up in your back, and they afford you the most awesome night’s sleep. At least that is how I have always felt after sleeping on foam mattresses. I’ve slept on them when I stayed at this cabin in the woods and loved it. So this sale is a great opportunity and I just can’t miss it!

Giving Away Old Toddler Beds

A toddler bed is a wonderful thing! James was giving away his children’s old toddler beds. They had long since outgrown them, and all they were doing was sitting around and collecting dust. James felt bad that the beds were not getting used, ad he wanted to get them to some families that were less fortunate. He had four toddler beds to get off his hands.

James got the word out by putting the beds up on classifieds websites. He also put the beds in the local paper. He said that if he did not get a response from the ads that he put out, he was planning to donate them to a thrift store. But James did not have to worry about going the thrift store route because after two days of having the ads out, all four beds were claimed. People came forth and wanted them for their children. James felt good that the beds were going to finally be put to good use again.

Camden and His Building Toys

Our son, Camden, is a brilliant eleven year old boy with an incredible mind. He is gifted in every way. Yes, I am his totally biased mom, but this boy truly is brilliant! He is a budding engineer or architect – and has aspirations to someday go to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). And I have no doubt that he will!

Now, we know his academic talents. However, he is definitely not “talented” in bedroom organization! He allows his room to become such a mess that I don’t know how he can think straight in there! He loves to build things, so his room is loaded with legos and other types of toys that he can construct various things with. He even likes to motorize his creations.

I am constantly after him to put his stuff away in his toy box when he is finished, so we can see the floor of his bedroom!

How Much Do Thermal Curtains Cost?

When people are trying to save money on their utility bills, thermal curtain is a very popular option. What they don’t know, is that they are more affordable than many think. For only a couple hundred dollars, you can get a nice set of thermal curtains that will end up saving you hundreds on your utility bills for years to come. You can get them for almost any size of window, and they come in many different patterns as well. You can almost be sure that you’ll be able to find one that is going to match the style and taste that you have. I went down to my local home improvement store and got a real bargain on a pair for my living room. It only cost me about $85, but they ended up saving the hundreds over the next few months. I must say that it is one of the cheapest and most effective ways of reducing your utility costs.
